Summer, the Luberon at its most vibrant
From June to August, the Luberon comes alive beneath the Provençal sun. Lavender fields are in bloom, village markets fill the mornings, terraces stay lively late into the evening, and the long days invite you to make the most of your villa and its pool.
July and August are the height of the season, when the region is at its most animated. Booking ahead is essential for the most sought-after villas, particularly around Gordes, Ménerbes, Bonnieux and Lourmarin.
Spring & autumn, the Luberon at its most intimate
Outside the peak summer months, the Luberon reveals a quieter and more authentic side. The light becomes softer, the countryside takes on rich seasonal colours, and village life returns to a slower rhythm.

HOW TO GET THERE
By plane & car
The easiest way to reach the Luberon from abroad is to fly into Marseille Provence Airport, then continue by car into the heart of Provence. The journey takes you from the Mediterranean coast through landscapes of vineyards, olive groves and rolling hills.
By train
Arrive by high-speed train at Avignon TGV or Aix-en-Provence TGV, then continue by private transfer or rental car. From the moment you leave the station, the landscape gradually changes — stone villages, cypress trees and Provençal countryside announcing your arrival in the Luberon.
